Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

1. Introduction

At Sprite O'MATIC (operated by Aiyeka Ltd), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use our Platform.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and should be read alongside our Terms of Service. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve our services. This includes:

  • Account Data: When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (handled securely via Firebase).
  • User Content: Video and image files you explicitly yield to the Platform for Sprite extraction processing.
  • Usage Data: Anonymous diagnostic data regarding error logs, feature usage, and browser type to help us optimize the engine. We do not use third-party invasive trackers like Google Analytics.
  • Payment Information: If you purchase Usage Tokens, your payment details are processed directly by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). Aiyeka Ltd does not store your full credit card number.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your User Content (uploaded videos) is utilized exclusively to provide the processing service to you. We process your data to perform our contract with you, for legitimate business interests like improving the service, and where required by law.

We do NOT:

  • Sell your email address to marketing agencies.
  • Sell your uploaded video assets to third parties.
  • Use your private game development footage to publicly train foundational generative AI models.

4. Third-Party Processors & Sharing

To operate a high-performance GPU platform, Aiyeka Ltd shares necessary data segments with trusted third-party service providers. These include:

  • Cloud Storage (Cloudflare/AWS): For temporary housing of active video chunks.
  • Compute Nodes (Runpod): For executing the heavy AI matting and pixelation algorithms.
  • Authentication (Firebase): For securely managing your login sessions.
  • Payments (Stripe): For processing financial transactions regarding Usage Tokens.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, etc.), or with your explicit consent.

5. Data Security

Sprite O'MATIC implements commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your User Content and Account Data. This includes encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and strict access controls on our backend servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Your Rights & Data Retention

Depending on your location (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you have specific rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correct: You can request that we fix inaccurate data.
  • Right to Delete: You can request the complete deletion of your account and data.
  • Right to Portability: You can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to Restrict or Object: You can object to our processing of your data under certain circumstances.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 10. Upon account deletion, your email and authentication records will be purged from our active databases.

As outlined in our Terms of Service, User Content (videos and generated sprites) are highly volatile and may be automatically purged from our temporary storage buckets to free up server capacity. We do not guarantee long-term retention of your assets.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

Sprite O'MATIC utilizes browser local storage and tracking cookies strictly to maintain your active session, save your custom Editor layouts, and preserve your history state across refreshes. We do not use third-party tracking cookies to serve you targeted advertisements. You can clear this data at any time via your browser settings, though doing so will log you out and clear your local tool preferences.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA compliance)

Our Platform is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 regarding users in the European Union). If we discover that we have inadvertently gathered personal data from anyone under these legal age limits, we will take immediate steps to completely delete such information from our servers and terminate the associated account.

9. International Data Transfers

Aiyeka Ltd operates globally. Therefore, the data we collect—including your uploaded videos and processed game assets—may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you reside (such as the United States, where our primary compute nodes are located). We ensure that these transfers comply with applicable data protection laws to safeguard your sensitive material.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
